How It Works
While the end result may seem trivial on the surface, today’s proof of concept walks the user through all the complex functionalities built to enable such powerful functionality. In practice, these steps will all be abstracted away in the background to create one-click, cross chain user experiences. A few of the actions taking place in today’s launch:
The user creates a smart-contract account on XION, simply using an email.
The user then creates an Interchain Abstract Account on Neutron, controlled directly by the XION account.
The user can now initiate transactions from the XION account, through its seamless UX, then permissionlessly communicate over IBC using the Abstract IBC messaging protocol.
The smart contract account on Neutron receives the instructions and executes those transactions on the Neutron blockchain.
The result is communicated back to XION.
This first implementation is just the beginning. We're extending this functionality to plug into the growing ecosystem of applications built on Neutron and other connected chains, all from a unified experience. This will enable users to create an account on XION with simply their email, and interact with applications built on Neutron through just a click of a button. They’ll then be able to use that same account, to interact frictionlessly with applications on other connected chains.
