How to buy XION

Buying from a centralized exchange

Purchasing $XION from centralized exchanges is a simple process that allows you to participate in the XION ecosystem. The following steps feature Bybit as an example, but these steps apply to all exchanges that list $XION, including Bitget, Kucoin, Mexc, and Gate.

Step 1: Log into your account.

Log in using your credentials.

Step 2: Ensure you have enough funds in your account to complete the transaction.

Once logged in, you'll need to deposit funds into your exchange account if you haven’t done so already.

Step 3: Search for the XION/USDT pair in the search bar at the top.

Step 4: Enter the amount of $XION you want to buy and place your order.

If you want to buy $XION at the current market price, place a market order. This will execute immediately based on the best available price. 

If you want to buy $XION at a specific price, place a limit order. Your order will execute once the market reaches your desired price.

After confirming the details, click “Buy.”

Once your buy order is completed, your $XION tokens will be credited to your account.

You can withdraw your $XION to your Meta Account by following the instructions below:

Step 1: Click on “Assets” in the top right corner of the page and select “Withdraw.”

Step 2: Click the drop-down menu next to “Select Coin” and select “XION.”

Step 3: Select “On-chain Withdrawal” and enter your XION Meta Account address under “Withdrawal Address.” Select XION as your chain.

You can find this address by clicking on your profile picture within your Meta Account — it will be displayed under your username.

Step 4: Enter the amount of $XION you’d like to withdraw and click “Confirm.”

Step 5: Confirm the information you’ve entered by checking the box and clicking “Submit.”

Swapping any token for $XION on an EVM chain

If you hold tokens on an EVM-compatible chain, you can swap them for $XION (ERC-20 version) using any DEX or DEX aggregator of your choice (such as Uniswap, 1inch, or Squid)

We’ll use Uniswap for this example, but the same process applies to all apps supporting EVM chains.

Step 1: Visit Uniswap

Step 2: Click "Connect" and select the wallet you want to use for this transaction

Step 3: Select the tokens you want to swap

In the swap interface:

• Under the "Sell" field, select the token you currently hold (e.g. ETH or USDC)

• Under the "Buy" field, search for and select XION

Step 4: Enter the amount you'd like to swap

Enter the amount of tokens you'd like to swap, then click on Review and Swap. Confirm your transaction in your wallet to complete the transaction. After the swap, your wallet will hold $XION (ERC-20) on the EVM chain you selected.

Swapping any EVM token for $XION using getxion.com

If you already purchased $XION on an EVM chain (via a DEX like Uniswap like shared above), or if you’re holding other tokens on any EVM-compatible chain, you can use getxion.com to swap and bridge directly into the XION ecosystem.

Step 1: Visit https://getxion.com/ 

Step 2: Click “Connect EVM Wallet” and select the wallet you want to use for this transaction.

The wallets already available on your browser will be displayed under “Installed.”

Step 3: Enter your wallet password and click “Unlock.”

Step 4: If prompted, select the EVM-compatible chain you’d like to use for this transaction and click “Approve.”

Step 5: Next, click “Connect XION.”

Step 6: Log into your Meta Account.

Step 7: Once your Meta Account is connected to getxion.com, you’ll be able to choose the token you’d like to use for the swap and the amount and complete your transaction.

Select the token you want to swap and select the amount. Click on "Deposit" and sign the transaction on your wallet to complete your transaction.

Swapping tokens for $XION using SkipGo

You can swap a wide range of tokens for $XION using Skip Go.

Step 1: Visit https://go.skip.build/

Step 2: Click the drop down menu on the top field, selecting the network, and the token you want to exchange for $XION.

Step 3: Click the drop down menu on the bottom field, select XION network, and click XION.

Step 4: Enter the amount you’d like to swap for $XION.

Step 5: Click “Connect Wallet” and select which wallet you want to use to complete the transaction.

Step 6: Once you’ve connected your wallet, you’ll be able to use your chosen token from within that wallet to swap for $XION.
